Within a circle, ‘sulṭān al-barrayn / wa khāqān al-baḥrayn / 4 /al-sulṭān ibn / al-sulṭān’ (‘The sultan of the two lands and the khaqan of the two seas, Sultan son of Sultan, [RY] 4’ in Arabic). Rev. Within a circle, Tughra; ‘ʿazza naṣruhū ḍuriba fī / Miṣr sana / 1171’ (‘May his victory be honoured! Struck in Misr, year 1171’ in Arabic). KM 105.1. Struck slightly off center and with a die break on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
